Caroline graduated in Veterinary Medicine at the University of Vienna, Austria, in 2012 and has followed her passion for wildlife to Vancouver Aquarium, Abu Dhabi Falcon Hospital and also the Avian Reptile and Exotic Pet Hospital at the University of Sydney. She joined the Koala Infectious Diseases Research Group in 2013 and has been a great contributor to the KHH, leading training of students, carers and koala managers. The KHH has provided Caroline a supplementary scholarship to support her PhD studies on the koala’s adaptation to plant toxins.
